Flux Cored Solder



Since SMIC developed its flux core solder SPARKLE SOLDER in 1955 in Japan, we have developed a number of flux core solders for various alloys and applications.
For our ECO SOLDER alloy, SMIC developed a type of flux core solder with improved wettability, a drawback peculiar to Lead-Free solder.

SPARKLE ESC21
Superior Wettability
With improvement over the ESC’s work-ability, wettability and spattering of solder and flux, ESC21 are newly developed for very good solderbility by lower temp. iron tip with long life of iron tip. Residue is almost clear and good appearance after soldering.

ECO SOLDER RMA02
High reliability and clear finish
ECO SOLDER RMA02 is a highly reliable resin flux cored solder that complies with the former U.S.A. standard, QQ-S-571.
It exhibits less solder ball spattering, transparent and coloress finish. The flux exhibits corrosion resistance and high insulation characteristics.

 

ECO Solder NV-1
Excellent stress- and heat-resistant flux
ECO SOLDER NV-1 is a flux-cored wire solder developed with a highly stress-resistant flux. Flux residue from flux-cored wire solder cracks when stressed, such as during post-soldering rotation, vibration or bending, and it also softens in high-temperature environments. It flux residue contaminates connector contacts. Conduction failures may result.
With its excellent stress and heat resistance flux- core ECO SOLDER NV-1 is ideal for PCBs with movable components such as switches and connectors.
