Advantage of Hot Runners
 
Inside Seiki hot runner system, the resin at the sprue and runner is kept molten to maintain constant fluidity. Depending on the temperature of the gate land and a die, a very small amount of the resin solidifies along with the resin inside of the cavity. After the molded product is removed, the spear tip is heated up to instantly melt the solidified resin at the gate land just before the next injection. Seiki hot runner system is suitable for many types of plastic resins such as commercial plastics, engineering plastics, reinforced plastics, etc.

Hot runner system
Runnerless means avoiding runner waste (passageway) which is by-produced with the conventional infection molding method. Runnerless system is the device which realizes this Runnerless molding. Only the molded parts can be formed, and a lot of advantages can be expected. This system also facilitates the molding of the crystalline resins.

Spear probe
The spear has a double heater structure consisting of a tip heater and a body heater. There are a large variety of spears available to accommodate different resin types and applications.

Valve gate
Valve gate
There are two types of systems: a single heater system and a double system. The single heater system uses the body heater only to control the temperature. The double heater system has a body heater and a probe tip heater to gain a separate control over the temperature around the gate. The valve pin shuts off directly to the gate in the cavity.
